QR Code Generator Maker — Privacy Policy

QR Code Generator Maker ("the App") is developed by Mobile Card Games & Travel Apps LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected.

1. Data We Collect

QR Code Generator Maker creates QR codes entirely on your device using Apple's built-in image tools. The text, links, contact details, calendar events, coordinates, and logo images you put into a QR code are never sent to us or to any server — they exist only on your device and inside the QR code image you create.

• QR code content: whatever you type or select to encode. Stored locally in your QR code history; never transmitted.
• Purchase information: if you subscribe to Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple. RevenueCat receives the transaction details and a random anonymous app-user ID to validate your subscription — this is the app's only network activity.

The app does not collect your name or email and contains no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no camera or scanning feature.

2. How We Use Your Permissions

The app asks for certain permissions only to prefill the content of a QR code you are actively creating. In every case the data stays on your device and ends up only inside the QR code you choose to save or share:

• Contacts: when you make a contact (vCard) QR code, the system contact picker lets you choose one contact; its name, phone, and email fields are read only to build that QR code.
• Calendar: when you make a calendar QR code, the app lists your upcoming events so you can pick the one to encode.
• Location: only when you tap "Use Current" on a location QR code, the app reads your current coordinates once to fill in the latitude and longitude.
• Photos: to pick a logo image to embed in your QR code, and to save the finished QR code image to your photo library.

None of this data is transmitted anywhere by the app. Every permission is optional — each QR code type can also be filled in by typing.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

The only third party the app communicates with is RevenueCat (revenuecat.com), which validates Premium subscriptions. RevenueCat receives Apple transaction data, a random anonymous app-user ID, and basic device/app metadata — never your name, email, or any QR code content, contacts, calendar events, or location.

Purchases themselves are processed by Apple (Apple privacy policy); we never see your payment details. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• On your device: your QR code history and settings are stored in the app's local storage. QR images you save go to your photo library.
• On our servers: nothing — we operate no servers, and QR generation happens on-device.
• Deletion: delete individual QR codes from your history in the app, or uninstall the app to remove all its data.

5. Data Security

Your QR code content never leaves your device, so there is nothing to intercept in transit. The app's only network traffic — subscription validation with RevenueCat — uses encrypted HTTPS.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Deny any permission (Contacts, Calendar, Location, Photos) and still use the app by typing QR content manually.
• Delete QR codes from your history at any time.
• Remove all app data by uninstalling the app.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights over your personal data, including the rights to know, access, correct, and delete it. Because we do not hold your data on servers we operate, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete on request — deleting the App deletes your data. Where the App does process data in transit, or a third-party service described above collects data, you may contact us at the email below to exercise your rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. In some regions, including the European Union, a higher minimum age applies to consent for data processing; the same statement applies there — we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the applicable age.

8. Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting user data on any system we operate, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
